This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed on the TimberTech Marketing Library (marketing.timbertech-international.com), the members-only portal where TimberTech partners download logos, photos, badges and documents.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is The AZEK Company Inc. (together with its affiliates, “AZEK”, “we”, “us”), 1330 W Fulton Market, Suite 350, Chicago, IL 60607, USA. Phone: 877-ASK-AZEK (877-275-2935).

2. What data we process and why
2.1 Your account
- Your e-mail address, your name and your user name.
- Your password, stored only in encrypted (hashed) form: nobody, including us, can read it.
- Your role (partner or library manager), the date of your last sign-in, and whether your account is active or suspended.
- If you had an account on the previous TimberTech marketing portal: your account was carried over with its creation date and the date of your last visit. Your old password was not carried over.
Purpose: to give you access to the Library and to manage partner accounts. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing TimberTech partners and their staff with marketing materials and in managing their access (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2.2 Your downloads
Each time you download a file or a zip, we record the date and time, your account, the document or section downloaded, the number of files and their size. No IP address is recorded.
Purpose: to know which materials are used, to keep track of access to the materials and to detect misuse. This history is visible only to the TimberTech staff who manage the Library. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2.3 Sign-in security
When a sign-in attempt fails, the IP address and the user name entered are recorded, so that repeated attempts can be blocked (protection against password guessing). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the Library secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2.4 Server logs
Like any website, the server that hosts the Library records technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, page or file requested, browser type and the server’s response. Purpose: security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2.5 Service e-mails
We only send you e-mails needed to use the Library: the invitation to choose your password and password reset links (valid for 24 hours). No newsletter or marketing e-mail is sent from the Library.
2.6 Fonts
The Library displays TimberTech’s brand fonts, served by Adobe Fonts (Adobe Inc.). To deliver them, your browser connects to Adobe’s servers, which receive your IP address. According to Adobe, the IP address is not stored, no cookies are set to serve the fonts, and the information collected (fonts served, web project, host name of the page) is used for billing and licence compliance. 3. Cookies
The Library only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work:
- the WordPress session cookies set when you sign in (names beginning with “wordpress_”), deleted when you sign out; they last for your browser session, or 14 days if you tick “Keep me signed in”;
- a temporary cookie (“ttl_rp”) used only while you choose a new password.
No audience measurement, advertising or social media cookie is used. As these cookies are strictly necessary, they do not require your consent and no cookie banner is displayed.
4. Who receives your data
Within AZEK: the TimberTech staff who manage the Library (library managers and administrators).
Service providers acting on our instructions:
- ADTG Studio (Amiens, France), webmaster: development, hosting management and maintenance of the Library;
- OVH SAS (Roubaix, France): hosting of the Library, its files and its database in France, and sending of service e-mails;
- Adobe Inc. (USA): delivery of the fonts (see 2.6).
We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. Your data may be disclosed where required by law, or to a buyer in the event of a merger or acquisition, who will be bound by the same obligations.
5. International transfers
The Library and its data are hosted in France. AZEK is based in the United States, as are some of the service providers listed above. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on safeguards recognised by the GDPR, such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework when the recipient is certified, or the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. You can ask us for information on these safeguards at the address in section 1.
6. How long we keep your data
- Account: as long as you have access to the Library. Accounts not used for more than 12 months may be suspended. An account is deleted when access is no longer needed (for example at the end of a partnership) or at your request.
- Download history: 12 months, then deleted automatically.
- Failed sign-in records: 12 months at most.
- Server logs: 12 months.
- Password links: 24 hours.
7. Security
The Library is only available over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Passwords are stored in hashed form. Files are stored outside the public web space and are only delivered to signed-in users; access to each section depends on your role. Passwords from the previous portal were not reused.
8. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. To do so, write to timbertechinternational@azekco.com. We may ask you to prove your identity.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in particular the authority of the country where you live, or the CNIL in France, where the Library is hosted (www.cnil.fr).
9. Professional use only
The Library is reserved for professional partners of TimberTech and AZEK staff. It is not intended for minors.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
